Manny Machado’s charity work bowls them over in Baltimore

Manny Machado of the Baltimore Orioles has enjoyed wild success on the field in his young career.

A Dominican-American born in Hialeah, FL, Machado exploded onto the scene in 2012 and has already tallied three All-Star appearances and two Gold Glove Awards.

But just because he has made it big in the majors, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time to go to bat for others off the field. Machado particularly has a passion for helping Baltimore City Foundation, a non-profit that aims to help youth and underprivileged Baltimore residents.
