Otis Awarded Gold Medal Sustainability Recognition From EcoVadis
December 10, 2024 /3BL/ - Otis Worldwide Corporation (NYSE: OTIS) earned a gold rating this year from EcoVadis, a global sustainability rating platform. This is the third straight assessment in which Otis obtained the gold rating – ranking in the top 5% of the more than 130,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis.

The EcoVadis rating system uses 21 criteria to measure companies’ efforts across four areas of corporate social responsibility and sustainability: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. As more companies look to existing and potential suppliers’ sustainability programs to achieve their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals, many use EcoVadis to provide a reliable assessment for their procurement practices. A strong EcoVadis score demonstrates a company’s strong sustainability performance and commitments and comprehensive management systems.
