Pfizer Australia Hosts Local Activation of IMPACT2030

July 2, 2019  /3BL Media/ Today Pfizer Australia hosts a gathering of 40 of its non-traditional industry partners to discuss volunteerism and potential collaborative efforts with the United Nations, corporations, nonprofits, academia, and other stakeholders to address Australia’s needs as part of the IMPACT2030 initiative. This meeting is being facilitated by Chris Jarvis, International expert in mobilizing corporate volunteering to achieve benefits for companies and communities. 

IMPACT2030 is a global, private sector-led effort focused on activating human capital investments through employee volunteer programs to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – established through a unanimous vote in 2015.

“Since 2016, we have been setting up local IMPACT Councils throughout the world to establish collaboration between companies to help solve some of the priority Sustainability Development Goals in each region” Said Chris Jarvis. 

It’s great to be down under and having these conversations with the likes of Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, SAP, TAL, PWC, Deloitte and Grant Thornton, TCS, AIA, Zurich as well as a good number of critical stakeholders.

This is the beginning of more local conversations and the intent is to include many more stakeholders along the way.
