Program Schedule Announced for Focal Point 2014: Packaging at the Leading Edge
September 5, 2014 /3BL Media/ - A keynote presentation by Craig Culver, co-founder and CEO of Culver's, and a panel conversation on responsible paper sourcing will open the day at Focal Point 2014: Packaging at the Leading Edge.
"We're really pleased to offer a lineup that through the day takes one across the value chain, from sustainable sourcing to end-of-life product solutions," said Paul Fowler, WIST executive director. "With 11 expert speakers and nine different presentations, this will be a highly informative and engaging day."

This is the fourth year for the annual Focal Point conference, held in October each year at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and hosted by the Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology. This year's event looks particularly at packaging challenges and solutions for the food and beverage industry, including manufacturing, converting, regulatory concerns and end-use.
The conference schedule includes several networking breaks and a plated lunch. An optional tour of the new Faustel Coating and Laminating Pilot Line recently installed at UWSP is offered at 3:30 p.m. following the final presentation and networking opportunity.
