Did you know…
- Approximately 22% of students in San Diego county do not have the equipment necessary to participate in online classes.
- With the rise of virtual and remote learning, this could cause students to fall behind seven months academically, or up to 10 months for Black and Latinx students.
- The National Laptop shortage threatens to further widen the education gap created by racial and socioeconomic inequities.
To help address this problem in our community, Qualcomm is hosting a month-long technology donation drive with Computer 2 Kids. This drive encourages Qualcomm employees and community members to donate any used or unused devices to be distributed among students in the region who need them most.
