Recognizing Employees Publicly, Every Day, at TWC
New Microsite Launches to Focus on Employee Activities
Every Day at Time Warner Cable
‘Every Day’ Interactive Map Spotlights TWC Employees, Customers
How company’s employees serve millions of customers nationwide is focus of new microsite
With over 52,000 employees in thousands of communities across 29 states, chronicling the day-to-day impact of a company as sprawling as Time Warner Cable can be a daunting task. To help tell this compelling story to both internal and external audiences, TWC’s Corporate Communications team recently launched a new microsite on the company’s blog Untangled called Every Day @ TWC.
Every Day features a best-in-class interactive map filled with stories, videos and pictures highlighting what TWC employees do, every day, in neighborhoods across the country to connect people and places to information, entertainment and each other. Stories are updated monthly and include behind-the-scenes videos of major TWC facilities, such as the company’s newly opened distribution center in Albany, N.Y.; technician visits to customer homes; photos and stories from community events; and breaking news.
“Every day our employees are in living rooms hooking up cable TV, installing fiber-optic lines to help small and large businesses reach the worldwide marketplace, and on the phones helping customers get the most from their services,” says Andrew Russell, senior director of communications, whose team created Every Day @ TWC with the help of web designers Rebellion Design Co. “We wanted to capture all of this amazing activity for people who are interested in learning more about how our company operates and what it’s like to work for one of the nation’s largest cable and broadband companies.”
