Galina Kofman Joins as Global Program Management VP to Coordinate Technical Projects in Company’s Digital Engagement Platform

Effective immediately, Galina Kofman has joined the company as global program management vice president.

Galina is an excellent addition to our team, and will be a huge asset in developing the infrastructure to support RecycleBank’s continued growth and our incredible social engagement platform.” Kofman brings more than 20 years of experience in program management and system and software development to RecycleBank. In her new role, Kofman will coordinate all future RecycleBank technology projects from ideation through execution, ensuring full correspondence with the company’s overarching corporate strategy. A central focus of her work will be managing developing new ways to engage and inspire action in eco-conscious consumers through the company’s digital platform, as well as scaling the platform to a broader online audience. Prior to RecycleBank, Kofman held the title of MAGIC Project program manager and technical team leader at IBM Research Center, where she developed a system for the automatic generation of learning object metadata. Prior to this, she served as datawarehousing program manager at AT&T and program manager of Orion, a foreign exchange trading system with AIG Trading Group. In addition to her substantial work within the IBM Research Center and IBM Internet Division throughout her career—some of which won her an IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award in 1990 and 1992—Kofman has held development and programming positions with Morgan Stanley, Priceline.com, Advantis and Chase Manhattan Bank. # # # ABOUT RECYCLEBANK® RecycleBank® is the leading environmental social platform that realizes the collective impact of individual action.
