Hear an overview of supply chain compliance and sustainability reporting requirements and related research projects with focus on European activities. It will examine evolving legal challenges relevant to sustainability reporting in the European Union and their relationship to existing global frameworks and standards. Furthermore, the session introduces current research projects funded by the European Union (e. g. SustainHub) as well as other developments affecting the manufacturing industry (e. g. Industry 4.0, Circular Economy).
