Changes to people management in the public service have been front and centre with deputy heads, managers, and HR professionals for quite some time. This has included integrated planning, recruitment, the move to a values-based appointment regime, performance measurement, and employee development, and these efforts in the public service are bearing fruit.
Susan Cartwright will discuss the legislative review of the Public Service Modernization Act which she has been leading, what she and her team have observed and heard, and how future efforts might be linked in the modernization and renewal agenda.
