HP's global citizenship agenda covers a broad spectrum, including governance, environment, and society.
This year, HP launched the first commercialized product from their HP Moonshot System which transforms the data center with an entirely new category of servers that consume up to 89% less energy, 80% less space at 77% less cost.
HP also launched new responsible supplier guidelines for student and dispatch workers in China to protect high-risk workers and promote responsible labor practices.
As a first in the IT industry, HP published their complete carbon footprint, a measure of their environmental impact as a corporation.
And their employees were committed to strengthening the communities they operate in and donated more than 1.4 million hours of their time to volunteer projects in 2012.
