- Employee Injury and Illness Incidence Rate (IIR) of 0.41 was approximately nine times better than the U.S. industry average and the second-lowest in Oxy’s history
- Placed among the top 1 percent of all companies rated by GovernanceMetrics International (GMI) and commended for maintaining “best in class corporate governance standards”
- Named a Natural Gas STAR Continuing Excellence (5 Years) award winner by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
- Second-ranked U.S. oil and gas company and No. 26 overall on Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list for 2010
