The report covers performance in the financial year 1 February 2009 - 31 January 2010. Tamro Group will publish a web-based Corporate Responsibility report annually from 2010.
Tamro follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 Guidelines in its reporting. The report also contains a number of case studies which describe Tamro’s responsibility in practice.
The report covers all Tamro Group business units in eight countries. The objective is to describe the development and results of Tamro Group’s corporate responsibility. Comparative data is not available as this is the first report.
Tamro’s view of corporate responsibility covers economic, social and environmental aspects and their impact on Tamro’s stakeholders. Since 2008 Tamro has continually developed its approach to corporate responsibility starting with the Group sustainability policy. Since then Tamro has worked hard to involve stakeholders in all of the markets in the development of the reporting process.
For Tamro corporate responsibility means that it must be an integral part of the day-to-day business with all stakeholders. Tamro’s role is key to the societies it works for. Tamro has an important role enabling the safe and effective delivery of right medicines at the right place at the right time.
