Republic Services of Southern Nevada was proud to accept the Best Marketing Campaign Award at the Las Vegas Business Press 2015 Green Awards in recognition for their annual GreenFest Earth Day event and grassroots marketing efforts in partnership with Channel 8 News Now and the Green Alliance. Republic and the Green Alliance co-founded the annual GreenFest Earth Day event in 2009 and have seen tremendous growth and community engagement over the years. GreenFest was created with the purpose to bring together like minded organizations, business professionals, municipalities and residents from across Southern Nevada to honor Earth Day, the environment and the vast resources available in the community.
