Robert Ruano Appointed to Serve on Arbor Day Foundation Board of Trustees
Ecostrata Services Executive to Serve Three Year Term
LINCOLN, Neb., July 16, 2019 /3BL Media/ – The Arbor Day Foundation Board of Trustees has appointed Ecostrata Services Founder and President Robert Ruano to serve for a three-year term. Robert has over 29 years of management experience both in the private and public sectors. Robert’s professional leadership includes many years in City of Miami government, overseeing all grant applications and environmental initiatives. Additionally, Robert has vast expertise in local, state, federal and foundation grant programs - helping to fund nonprofits, municipalities and private entities through development initiatives and government programs.
In addition to his appointment to the Arbor Day Foundation board, Robert volunteers and chairs several community boards and volunteers at community events. Currently, he serves as the immediate past-Chair of Miami-Dade County's Planning Advisory Board, Chair of Bike Walk Coral Gables (a nonprofit he helped start in 2011), he is a member of the USDA's National Urban & Community Forestry Advisory Council, Vice-Chair of the Green Mobility Network and he sits on the Coral Gables Transportation Advisory Board.

Robert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited professional.
