Sands China Shows Its Support for Macao SAR Happy Family Month 2017

Sands China Ltd. showed its support again this year for the Social Welfare Bureau’s Happy Family Month, inviting four Macao non-governmental organizations to its properties to promote their services.
Between May 16 and June 1, SCL Team Members had access to information booths manned by representatives from the Gaming Employees’ Home, the Sheng Kung Hui Gambling Counseling and Family Wellness Centre, Smart Youth of the Christian New Life Fellowship, and Caritas Macau. The booths were set up at Sands Macao, The Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central, and The Parisian Macao.
The organizations representatives offered more than 8,500 Team Members information on their organizations’ local community resources and services promoting neighborhood harmony and family happiness, which also featured games and service promotions. Booths provided information on a range of themes: family health services, life education, stress relief, emotional support, prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, and sexual assault.
SCL’s Team Member areas also featured notice boards giving Team Members more information about some of the various community service organizations in Macao, as part of the company’s global responsibility to transforming local communities with significant investments that solve social problems, drive economic development, and build a high standard of living.
