ScottsMiracle-Gro Named a Wonderful Workplace for Young Professionals
ScottsMiracle-Gro was once again recognized by the Columbus Young Professionals Club as a Wonderful Workplace for Young Professionals in 2019.
Since 2013, the Columbus Young Professionals Club has chosen central Ohio companies for this award based on four criteria:
- Coolness (Attraction)
- Stickiness (Young professional retention)
- Community impact
- Growth opportunities
A large number of central Ohio companies applied, and ScottsMiracle-Gro was one of 40 companies selected in 2019. This marks the third year the company has received the award, which was accepted by members of the Scotts Young Professionals employee resource group.
“Engaging our young associates is key to the future of ScottsMiracle-Gro,” said ScottsMiracle-Gro Vice President of Advertising John Sass, who serves as executive sponsor of the Scotts Young Professionals group. “We have a fantastic environment here for young professionals to start their careers and grow personally and professionally. It’s outstanding to have our efforts recognized within the greater Columbus community.”
