Second Chances: KeyBank Teammates Come Together to Lift EDWINS Up
Since 2007, EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization in Cleveland, has offered formerly incarcerated adults a foundation in the culinary and hospitality industries, and a support network necessary for long-term success.
Founded by Brandon Chrostowski in 2007, the driving principle behind the organization is that every human being, regardless of their past, has a right to a fair and equal future. EDWINS’ mission is three-fold: to teach a skilled and in-demand trade in the culinary arts, empower willing minds through passion for hospitality management, and prepare students for a successful transition home.
KeyBank has a long history of supporting EDWINS with both monetary and volunteer investment. On the bank’s Neighbors Make the Difference Day in 2021, volunteers from KeyBank came together to help clean, paint and make repairs to the EDWINS Campus. Watch the video above to see the work that KeyBank teammates did and how it is helping EDWINS provide second chances to the people and community it serves.
