Sharon Springs Central School has taken to tablets, and thanks to a grant, teachers have some help with the transition.
Some students used iPads for classroom instruction over the past year, and with more students set to receive the devices this year, a Verizon Wireless grant will help cover the cost of training teachers to use the iPad for school.
Sharon Springs was one of a dozen districts in the country to win a grant for professional instruction from the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program.
