Siemens Keynote Sponsor Of Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon

CHICAGO, June 8, 2012 / 3BL Media / PRNewswire/ -- For the seventh consecutive year, Siemens is the keynote sponsor of Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon, the not-for-profit's single-day volunteer event on June 9th that puts approximately 5,000 people to work on projects throughout the city, painting and improving Chicago Public Schools. Siemens' ongoing financial commitment has been supported by the efforts of its employees who, since 2003, have participated in this event contributing more than 11,000 hours of service under the Siemens Caring Hands banner, the company's community service and employee volunteer program.
