Siemens at Smart City Expo World Congress
SIEMENS AT SMART CITY EXPO WORLD CONGRESS November 17-19, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain
Siemens at Smart City Expo World Congress
Today, we are already more urbanized than at any other time in history, and the UN estimates that by 2050 roughly two thirds of the world’s population will live in cities. The issues and challenges of urban development are critical to our future quality of living. It’s not surprising then that the Smart Cities Expo World Congress (SCEWC) attracts more than 10,000 people, representing hundreds of cities from around the world.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona, SCEWC is the world’s leading smart city gathering and focuses on the most important current and future issues of urban growth. At this year’s congress, companies, governments, entrepreneurs and researchers will come together to learn, share and debate the future development of our cities, specifically the issues of:
- Smart Society
- Technology
- Governance
- Energy
- Mobility
- Sustainable City
This event is being held in conjunction with BcnRail 2015 – the only Spanish railway congress on smart mobility, showcasing the most innovative projects being developed in the industry.
Where cities take center stage
Now in its 5th year, the SCEWC is the most important trade fair for the smart city and intelligent infrastructure community. It represents a unique opportunity for Siemens to touch base with its global partners and customers as well as key influencers and to share the latest innovations and offerings for smart and digital cities.
Equally, Barcelona Rail is a key date for the Spanish railway industry, traditionally supported by Siemens Spain and well recognized by local railway players.
