Small Technology That Makes a Big Difference – CNH Industrial Donates Tablets to Local School Districts
Students across three states are better equipped for learning this fall thanks to CNH Industrial (NYSE: CNHI/MI: CNHI). The multinational donated 210 tablets used at its Capital Markets Day event on September 3 to schools near CNH Industrial facilities in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota for use in classrooms by students and teachers.
The donation is part of CNH Industrial’s ongoing support of local communities and education, particularly in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This is a key pillar in the company’s commitment to sustainability in every aspect of its business.
One of the recipient schools is the Racine Alternative Learning Centre in Racine, Wisconsin, which offers credit courses in alternative settings for students seeking to complete a high school diploma.
Schools in the West Burlington Independent School District and the Burlington Community School District, both in Iowa, are using the tablets in kindergarten and First Grade classrooms to help with curriculum activities.
Tablets were also donated to Benson High School, a public school in Benson, Minnesota that has an enrollment of about 200 students from seventh to 12th grades.
CNH Industrial manufactures and markets agricultural and construction equipment under its Case IH, New Holland Agriculture, CASE Construction Equipment and New Holland Construction brands as well as powertrains for FPT Industrial in North America.
