Surrounded by family and colleagues, Andrea Tucker, operations manager for Smithfield Foods, was honored to receive a 2019 STEP Ahead Award from The Manufacturing Institute. The STEP Ahead Awards celebrate women in the manufacturing industry that make a difference through advocacy, mentorship, engagement, promotion, and leadership. Andrea was selected due to her dedication to operational excellence at Smithfield's Wilson, North Carolina facility.
