1. The Roundup
Your visitors are presented with so much information that it’s easy for them to miss an interesting news story. Help them see what your company is doing by producing a “roundup” of news. This can be daily, weekly, or even monthly.

2. A hashtag of your own
Help your audience find your tweets with a unique and memorable hashtag. Aside from using it to share press releases and other news, it is a great employee engagement resource. Volunteer teams can use it to tweet photos or updates from the field, and those unable to join can easily follow from their desks.

3. A picture is worth 1,000 retweets
A picture will help set your tweet apart from others in your visitor’s newsfeed by breaking up a sea of text. According to Twitter, “photos average a 35% boost in retweets.” Try it to see how it affects your retweet rate.
Bonus tip: format your photos to 440 length x 220 width. This will make them fit perfectly in the in-feed preview, making for the optimal viewing experience.

4. Bring your grantees into the mix
Always include your nonprofit partners’ handles when tweeting news stories that involve them. They will know you tweeted at them and, hopefully, retweet you. Your nonprofit partners probably have a slightly different Twitter audience than you do. And their audience is already invested in what your nonprofit partner has to say, so share your good news with them.

5. Utilize your resources
Your most recent CSR or Sustainability Report is a fantastic resource. Make the most of it by tweeting links to specific sections, sharing infographics, or highlighting important numbers. Easily shareable data is always welcomed.
