Amgen Teach Science Projects Workshop In The Future Classroom Lab, 5-6 April
The workshop was co-organised by the Amgen Teach and Space EU projects and had 12 Amgen Teach Ambassadors and 10 Space EU Teacher Training Institutes (TTIs) participating during a 2 day event at the European Schoolnet headquarters in Brussels
The workshop brought together STEM teachers from across Europe with the aim to train the newly appointed Amgen Teach Ambassadors who will be disseminating the Amgen Teach project at national level.
Supported by the Amgen Foundation and organized by European Schoolnet, the 27th Science Projects Workshop focused on deepening student interest and achievement in science by strengthening the ability of Amgen Teach Ambassadors to use inquiry-based teaching strategies in the classroom.
The programme included trainings and other presentations:
- Workshops in the Future Classroom Lab
- Focus group with the project's external evaluators (Educonsult)
- Training on upcoming Amgen Teach Ambassador tasks
The 15 hour workshop trained our newly appointed Ambassadors into forming new expert teachers by spreading Amgen Teach's Inquiry Based learning at a national level.
