T. Rowe Price Releases Its First Diversity and Inclusion Report
March 21, 2017 /3BL Media/ - T. Rowe Price is pleased to announce the release of its first-ever Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Report. The 2016 report highlights the firm’s continued and purposeful strategy in leveraging differences.
“The firm has made some notable progress in diversity and inclusion,” says Angela Roseboro, head of D&I. “This report provides a comprehensive view of the work the firm has been doing over the past several years.”
In 2014, the firm created a five-year D&I Strategic Plan that focused on three key objectives:
-
Attracting, developing, and retaining great talent
-
Creating an inclusive culture where associates can contribute to their highest levels
-
Holding leaders accountable for results
The D&I Report details the progress toward these objectives. The firm’s efforts to ensure at least 30% of interviewees for senior-level roles are diverse have resulted in an increase in minority leadership. Associate working groups have provided valuable insights into how best to forward. And D&I goals are now linked to leadership performance.
“While there is always more work to be done and more progress to be made, the firm remains committed to advancing diversity and inclusion. This report demonstrates the firm’s steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion,” says Ms. Roseboro.
