There's Still Time to Submit Your Cause Marketing Campaign to the Halo Awards

January 22, 2013 /3BL Media/ - North America’s highest cause marketing honor, the Cause Marketing Halo Awards, has opened the submission period for campaigns conducted in 2012. In its eleventh year, the Cause Marketing Halo Awards recognize nonprofit organizations, businesses and agencies for excellence in initiatives that do well by doing good.

A new category called "Business Model Integration" will recognize companies that integrate cause or nonprofit partnership into the fundamental essence of their brand strategy with positive results.

Entries are sought in ten categories:

  • Best Transactional Campaign

  • Best Message-Focused Campaign

  • Best Health-Related Campaign

  • Best Environmental or Animal Campaign

  • Best Social Service Campaign

  • Best Education Campaign

  • Best Social Media Campaign

  • Best Business Model Integration (New!)

  • Best Video Creative

  • Best Print Creative

Entries are due at the Cause Marketing Forum's headquarters in Rye, NY by January 31, 2013. Extensions are available until February 6 with the payment of a late fee.

Winners will be honored during the Cause Marketing Forum conference on May 29-30 at the J.W. Marriott in Chicago. Winners will also be featured in a special section of Advertising Age.
