Tim Peters, Sr. Director of Energy Operations, Named a 2021 Environment+Energy Leader 100 Honoree

The annual Environment+Energy Leader 100 recognizes environment and energy “doers” who break trail in creating new solutions, programs, platforms, best practices and products to help their companies achieve greater success in commercial and industrial environment and energy management.

Tim has been with Albertsons Companies for 32 years, and in his current role focuses on optimizing the energy consumption across our operations, which in turn supports our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. He shares that his favorite part of working for Albertsons Companies is the relationships he has built, saying, “I truly appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the people in this company. It is amazing!”

In 2020, Tim and his team completed more than 800 energy efficiency projects across our operations which will save 2M+ metric tons of CO2e annually. This year, Albertsons Companies committed to setting a science-based carbon reduction target, and the work Tim and his team do will be an integral part of meeting that goal.
