Timberland Celebrates Earth Day With Community Service Projects Around the World

On May 12, Timberland closed its headquarters for the day as more than 300 volunteers participated in six projects in New Hampshire in celebration of the brand’s 18th annual Earth Day service event. On April 17, a group of Timberland volunteers in Panama dedicated their day of service to Metropolitan Natural Park, where they organized a walk to support the conservation of the park, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

On April 23, a group of Timberland volunteers in Honduras spent their day of service cleaning up a construction site to help prevent the constant flooding in San Pedro Sula. Timberland volunteers worked to clean up one ton of trash from the site’s entryway, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

On May 25, a group of more than 130 Timberland volunteers and partners in Italy supported Legambiente to transform the area of Cascina Nascosta (Sempione Park) into an oasis of sustainability and urban greening, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

On May 4, a group of Timberland volunteers in Malaysia dedicated their day of service to planting 60 fruit trees at the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

On May 12, a group of Timberland volunteers in New Hampshire painted exterior walls, installed a gazebo, built bike racks, and cleaned up a garden and trail at the Seacoast Science Center, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

On May 12, a group of Timberland volunteers in New Hampshire worked at the Stratham Memorial School as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe. Projects included the construction of a new walkway, six raised garden beds and a fence to enclose the garden with a gated entrance for students.

On May 20, a group of Timberland volunteers in Japan beautified Yoyogi Park in Tokyo by cleaning up and planting flowers, as part of Timberland’s Earth Day service events in communities around the globe.

Timberland, the Stratham, New Hampshire-based global outdoor lifestyle brand, celebrated its 18^th consecutive year of hosting Earth Day service events in communities worldwide. In April and May, Timberland employees, students, partners and community members joined forces at six project sites in New Hampshire, as well as several locations around the globe, with the common goal of meeting critical needs and creating sustainable impact in neighboring communities.
