WHAT: Through an innovative partnership with The Heart of America Foundation and CBS EcoMedia, UnitedHealthcare today announced its commitment to supporting a READesign® Cafeteria Makeover Program at Bruce Monroe Elementary School.
Bruce Monroe Elementary, a District of Columbia public school serving approximately 440 students elementary students, is located in the Park View neighborhood in Northwest DC. Through the Heart of America Foundation’s READesign Cafeteria Makeover Program, UnitedHealthcare funding is supporting a makeover of the Bruce Monroe Elementary School’s cafeteria..
The Heart of America Foundation’s READesign® Cafeteria Makeover Program aims to transform school cafeterias by redecorating, revitalizing and reimagining the possibilities for these key gathering spaces in schools.
Through “Do Good. Live Well.,” UnitedHealthcare’s employee-volunteer initiative aimed at preventing hunger and obesity, the company supports service projects across the country.
