Update to French Translation of GRI Standards
Additional French translations of the GRI Standards, the world's most widely adopted sustainability reporting framework, are now available.
The recently updated versions of two Standards - ‘GRI 303: Water and Effluents 2018’ and ‘GRI 403: Occupational Health and Safety 2018’ – have been published in French and can be accessed by any French-speaking organization using the GRI Standards.
All of the French language translations can be downloaded free of charge on the GRI website.
This translation was carried out by Language Scientific and peer reviewed by a committee consisting of:
- François Sibille, France - Sibille Consulting / Geneva School of Management
- Dolores Larroque, France - sustainability reporting expert, MATERIALITY-Reporting
- Gildas Fishmonger, Canada - Senior Manager Sustainability, Deloitte Canada
Those who are reporting on the topics of GRI 303 or GRI 403 for the first time are advised to adopt the new Standards for their reports. For those already reporting on these topics, the 2016 versions of GRI 303 and GRI 403 can continue to be used for reports or other materials published on or before 31 December 2020.
