CIT Cares Month launched this past June to enable employees across the country to give back to communities where they live and work. Nearly 1,700 employees, approximately 40 percent of the total U.S. employee population, took part in 160 volunteer projects nationwide.

About CIT Cares: The spirit of giving back to communities is present across CIT. In 2017, CIT launched a month-long program called CIT Cares Month, where employees are encouraged to volunteer in their local communities. This effort is supported through a paid time off program for all CIT staff. In the first year, approximately 1,700 CIT employees completed 160 projects and volunteered 7,500 hours on projects. The second annual CIT Cares Month takes place in June 2018 with participation expected across 18 locations nationwide.
