As the COVID-19 pandemic continued to spread, the growing shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) was an issue Gildan could not ignore. That’s why they decided to convert some of their factories to manufacture masks and gowns.
Thanks to their large-scale, company-operated manufacturing infrastructure Gildan was well positioned to leverage its supply chain to take positive action. But with employees coming back to work during this difficult time, Gildan’s top priority was their health & safety.
