VIDEO | Mohawk Commemorates July 4th and Honors Employees with Georgia’s Largest American Flag
The global flooring company's roots are firmly planted in American soil
The American flag is a powerful symbol of patriotism that inspires us to celebrate what is best about our nation.
That’s why Mohawk Industries raised the largest American flag in Georgia. Measuring 45 feet high by 75 feet wide and weighing over 150 pounds, the flag towers from a 130-foot pole at Mohawk’s Union Grove campus in Calhoun and now serves as a landmark for drivers along I-75, one of the nation’s most heavily trafficked highways.
Though Mohawk enjoys global brand recognition as the world’s largest flooring manufacturer, a rich 140-year history is rooted in America. Its carpet has always been made in the U.S. With facilities and manufacturing operations across the nation, Mohawk is more committed than ever to American-made manufacturing – and the communities and families it impacts daily.
From product conception to the manufacturing process to the sale of products, Mohawk employees and valued retail partners are providing the foundations for homes and businesses around the U.S.
