Vitamin A deficiency is a serious issue affecting millions of children around the world. A lack of vitamin A causes up to 500,000 children to go blind every year, half of whom die with a year of losing their sight.
This doesn’t have to be the case. Fortified foods, breast-milk, and short term supplements can all provide essential vitamin A to aid growth and development, support the immune system, and maintain eye health.
