Voya Financial EVP of Operations Nan Ferrara Appointed to Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville

(NYSE: VOYA), announced today that Nan Ferrara, EVP of Operations and Continuous Improvement, has joined the board of directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities ® (RMHC) of Jacksonville. RMHC is a nonprofit organization providing lodging, meals, transportation and compassion for families who need to be near a hospital for their child’s treatment. The organization’s Board is comprised of individuals from the medical, business, academic and volunteer communities of Northeast Florida who provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the nonprofit, and help raise awareness of RMHC’s services to the surrounding communities. 

“I’m honored to join an organization that means so much to Jacksonville residents and families in our region,” said Ferrara. “I’m eager to begin working with my fellow board members to support RMHC in providing a caring community for parents who visit the Jacksonville area seeking medical care for their children.” 

As EVP of Operations and Continuous Improvement, Ferrara oversees the overall growth strategy and performance of the operations organization, as well as the company’s Continuous Improvement efforts, a key driver of Voya’s strategic transformation. She utilizes a results-driven approach to help build high-performing teams and greater collaboration among Voya’s ongoing business and support functions. Ferrara is a member of Voya’s Executive Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors of Voya Foundation, the company’s charitable giving arm.

Ferrara has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having served in various leadership positions at major insurance and financial services corporations prior to joining Voya in 2012. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University.
