February 15, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Join Ingersoll Rand on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 9-10 a.m. ET to learn about the work underway at the company’s Guilin, China facility to reduce fresh water consumption in a water-stressed area.

In 2015, Ingersoll Rand set a goal of a 2 percent reduction in fresh water compared to 2014. Always looking to exceed expectations, the team set a self-imposed reduction goal of 10 percent.

After designing and implementing a new water recycling process, the site achieved a 54 percent fresh water reduction from January to March 2015 compared to all of 2014.

The team credits lean tools, lean thinking, standard work, and engaged employees to not only exceed their goal, but also sustain the results.
