Whirlpool Brand Hits Home with Human Element at CES

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4, 2015 /3BL Media/ – The new Whirlpool® Every day, care™ campaign brings warmth and a human touch to the sea of technology at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. In addition to debuting its future concepts and award-winning 2015 product portfolio, the brand will continue its mission to champion the importance of family care throughout the show – from care kiosks at the airport to a complimentary clothing refresh with the SWASH™ system, to simple care card reminders that inspire social interactions.
Attendees heading to Las Vegas from Chicago’s Midway airport can keep warm with a special CES care package provided at a Whirlpool brand Care Kiosk in an effort to provide a small act of care in the air. Upon landing at McCarran International Airport, attendees will encounter a 7-foot art installation near baggage claim, depicting the significant impact small moments of care – cooking, cleaning, washing – have on shaping the people we love and the world in which we live. A second 12-foot art installation will be featured at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the South Hall, where brand ambassadors hand out cards that remind people about small acts of care that are meaningful during a hectic show, from holding the door open, to giving a compliment, to offering help with luggage.
Located in the Family Tech Zone at the Sands Expo, the Whirlpool® interactive experience takes place in booth #73937, where attendees will be greeted and offered a complimentary jacket refresh in just 10 minute with the SWASH™ in-home fabric freshening system.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience award-winning Whirlpool brand product innovations in booth that put people squarely at the heart of its newest technologies in laundry and kitchen. First, the next-generation Whirlpool® Smart Top Load Washer and Dryer does more good with less work, featuring a first-ever connected, donation-enabled machine in the U.S. Using the Connect to care™ program within the Whirlpool® Mobile app turns a seemingly mundane chore, laundry, into a new way of caring for other families through Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, the Interactive Kitchen of the Future 2.0 demo highlights a Whirlpool brand Interactive Backsplash that serves as a multi-purpose, digital cooking aid, and the kitchen’s cooking and informational hub, allowing consumers to virtually connect with loved ones, monitor children who aren’t in eyesight, and manage meal prep across multiple appliances—all from one screen and across multiple appliances.
