Whirlpool Corporation Employees Volunteer for FIRST Robotics

At Whirlpool Corporation, we’re proud of our employees who volunteer their time and talents throughout the world. In 2016, 337,000 employees volunteered* and 300+ non-profit organizations were impacted globally through volunteerism and donations.

In conjunction with National Volunteer Week, we wanted to recognize a few of our employees who volunteer with a cause close to their hearts - FIRST Robotics. We applaud their efforts to inspire others by taking action and creating change.

At our global headquarters, Whirlpool Corporation is a proud sponsor of FIRST Robotics, providing local teams with challenge grants, materials and supplies, and thousands of employee volunteer hours coaching and mentoring high school youth to encourage their interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), as well as careers in manufacturing.
