A grandson's eating disorder eventually led to eviction for Jackie Lama and her extended family from her George Street home in the spring of 2012.
By February 2016, the family will be living in a new 2,500-square-foot Habitat for Humanity home, aptly named the House of Hope by the primary sponsor of the project, the Whirlpool Corp.
Lama has two grandchildren diagnosed with autism.
