(3BL Media) September 12, 2012 - An early-bird registration discount of $50 has been extended to September 16 by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals for an on-line workshop that it will offer this autumn entitled Focusing and Designing Your Career In Sustainability. The 10-week workshop will provide a cohort of sustainability professionals with the opportunity to strategize and explore career options with Carol McClelland, green career expert and author of Green Careers For Dummies. The program covers a broad range of careers that boost triple bottom line impact through sustainability, environmental responsibility, and social responsibility.
Through a series of proven, practical daily and weekly activities in September, October and November 2012, each participant will brainstorm, with Carol's facilitation and coaching, up to 40 green career ideas and then weave together a career vision that best reflects their values, skills and interests. For people reflecting on a career change, exploring ways to have more impact in a current career in sustainability, or simply curious about their next steps professionally, this workshop is an investment in the future. Carol's workshop is the precursor to the 2013 ISSP Consultants Cohort, which makes it a great place to start for someone considering a career path in sustainability.
