The Yum! Sustainability team partnered with Manual High School Class of 2013 and Habitat for Humanity to build an environmentally friendly, LEED certified home for a family in need near Louisville, KY. Serge, Pascasie and their children are from Burundi. They have lived in the U.S. for five years and previously spent 14 years in a refugee camp in Tanzania. To them, having their own home gives a sense of community, pride and self confidence. As a company with a Huge Heart, Yum! is proud and honored to help build a better future for families in need.
