Fortune magazine announced that Medtronic is included on the 2017 World’s Most Admired Companies list. The annual list measures corporate reputation among the world’s largest companies. This year Medtronic ranked third within the Medical Products and Equipment category, up from ninth in 2015 and marking the second year in a row in which Medtronic has been in the top five.
For the third straight year, Medtronic has been named one of the most innovative companies in the world.
The Clarivate Analytics Top 100 Global Innovator award honors the world’s most innovative companies based on the volume, success, protection and influence of their patents.
Each year, Forbes partners with market research company Statista to poll 30,000 U.S. employees. With this data, the companies compile a country-wide ranking of the best employers of 2018. This year, VMware is excited to announce that the company ranks #21 on Forbes’ list of best employers. Three television projects from 21st Century Fox businesses took home top honors at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on May 5, including Twentieth Century Fox Television’s This Is Us, FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and National Geographic’s Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric. The awards recognize media and entertainment for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community, as well as the issues that affect their lives.

Hormel Foods Corporation today announced it has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year on the Military Times Best for Vets Employers list.
The company ranked No. 75 on the list, which evaluates many factors that make a company a good fit for military veterans.
