In Fort Dodge, Iowa, a former Georgia-Pacific gypsum mine is now the Gypsum City OHV Park. It’s 800 acres with 65 miles of off-road trails, managed in partnership with the Iowa Off-Highway Vehicle Association.

The City of Corvallis, Republic Services and other local partners teamed up for what is locally referred to as Couch Patrol. The idea came out of a Rental Property Managers Group meeting at the Corvallis Elks Lodge last May, and has turned into a successful initiative.
