JPMorgan Chase & Co. today announced a $900,000 investment to support sustainable infrastructure projects in Detroit. In addition, the firm is retrofitting over 70 percent of Chase branches in the city with LED lights and new Building Management Systems.

My.Future is a safe, fun, and interactive digital platform that enables kids to create online accounts they can use to learn, play and socialize.

Hour of Code 2017: Unlock an Exciting New World by Taking a ‘Hero’s Journey’

In a few weeks, people around the world will celebrate Computer Science Education Week. Millions of kids and others will participate in an Hour of Code, a global call to action to spend an hour learning the basics of coding. Today, it’s my privilege to announce that Microsoft has released a new Minecraft tutorial for Hour of Code, called Hero’s Journey, that will be used in classrooms, at after-school programs, community centers and homes everywhere.

After the birth of his first child, soft drink industry veteran Paul Lederer found himself thinking about eating and drinking healthier. He started to look for alternative drink options and couldn’t find something that appealed to him. “Everything seemed to compromise somehow,” he said. “I was drinking a lot of coconut water, but the flavors just didn't blend well. Ginger beer's great, but it was loaded with sugar.”

First Electric Highway in U.S. Unveiled Near Ports of L.A. and Long Beach

On Nov. 8, the country’s first electrified highway, or eHighway, was demonstrated by the South Coast Air Quality Management District and Siemens. The demonstration of big rig trucks hauling freight took place on a mile-long stretch of Alameda Street near the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Southern California Edison is providing engineering support for the project and analyzing how the system integrates into the grid.
