The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) launched its second annual Sustainability Report today, the first ever to be in alignment with the guidelines from the Kuwait National Development Plan (KNDP), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), and the Boursa Kuwait voluntary sustainability disclosure guide.
In March 2018 30 professionals from across Tetra Tech attended their first session of Tetra Tech’s annual Leadership Academy in Arlington, Virginia. This year’s Leadership Academy includes future leaders from Tetra Tech’s operations in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Chile.
Operational leaders from around the world nominate their top Tetra Tech employees for the Leadership Academy, with the final 30 participants selected by Tetra Tech CEO Dan Batrack. Participants work with top leaders from Tetra Tech’s global operations; interact with executive management; expand their knowledge of the company; and focus on operational, financial, and interpersonal skills.

This week, individuals, executives and world figureheads convened in Austin for SXSW Interactive – a mammoth event where leaders shared ideas, solutions, innovations and a positive outlook for the future. Although the conference features a Social Impact track where activists, social enterprises and entertainers shared how they are creating solutions, the theme of Purpose extended far beyond this singular track.

He said this comes from considering the desires of all stakeholders, not just investors. As we celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day this week, I’m spending it with 50 of my Wendy’s colleagues at the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) Annual Leadership Development Conference in Dallas. Together with thousands of other women – and a few men – in our industry, we’re celebrating women in leadership positions while also navigating the difficult conversation of gender equity in the workplace. I’m coming away from it both hopeful and now armed with powerful tools and a community of colleagues championing the same vision.
