After several tornadoes hit Northwest Arkansas in late May, leaders at our Glad plant in Rogers were forced to spring into action to keep our people safe and then work to restore operations after the facility was hit directly by the storm.
Duke Energy recently accelerated its targets for more diverse representation, and new Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Joni Davis is leading the effort. Davis started her job six months ago, with a goal to not only increase diversity at the company but to strengthen a culture that supports it.
Schneider Electric itself is committed to reach carbon neutrality by 2030 and being powered by 80% renewable electricity by 2020. The company has also helped many other RE100 signees to reach the same goal. That combination of efficiency and fostering renewable energy has also helped Schneider to get closer to its goal of avoiding 120 million tons of CO2 on behalf of their customers by 2020.
