Farmers Post, an initiative led by World Wildlife Fund in partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, is making strides toward the goal of connecting farms to consumers with same-day or next-day deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Battersea Power Station, one of London’s iconic “superstations” and the largest brick building in Europe, was, at its peak, a structure hailed for its distinct design and its ability to provide enough energy to power a resurgent London over the course of five decades. Colombia-based organic snack producer Fruandes Frutos de los Andes SAS has joined the Business Call to Action (BctA) with a commitment to train and support 500 smallholder farmers in organic farming practices, and increase the incomes of 1,500 people working in agriculture by the end of 2020.
