AEG's LA Galaxy Surprises Carson High School Soccer Team With Equipment and Check Donation
AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation surprised Carson High School in Carson, CA with a check donation of $4,000 and new soccer equipment on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 as part of the MLS Works “Every Save Makes A Difference” program, which highlights organizations that are making a difference in the lives of the Hispanic community.
LA Galaxy defender, Chase Gasper, and the team’s Manager of Community Relations, Gabriel Osollo, presented the soccer equipment and check donation to the Carson High School’s soccer team. Following the presentation, the high school soccer team had a chance to learn new passing and receiving skills from Gaspar who led a 60-minute soccer clinic.
“It was awesome to have a chance to spend the day with the kids," said Gasper. “We’re thankful for the opportunity because it’s important to ensure that kids have access to the funding and equipment required to participate in the game, and that is what this donation is all about. It’s such an honor and a privilege to be here with them.”
