Alliance Data's African American Resource Group Employee Spotlight: Suzanne Coates Brown
This month, our African American Resource Group (AARG) is spotlighting associates’ perspectives and experiences in observance of Black History Month, a month dedicated to learning about the Black community and its history and culture.
Suzanne has been with Alliance Data for nearly 9 years and is co-founder and board chair for a local nonprofit, Besa, whose mission is connecting people with their community in meaningful ways, including volunteer projects within the black community such as movie nights with panel discussions by Black community leaders. She also volunteers at the New Salem Baptist Church Bread of Life Food Pantry to support the local Linden community. She is currently reading The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson and encourages others to explore a piece of Black history this month that inspires them well beyond February.
