CACI Receives Award for Continued Excellence in Small Business Support
For the 12th consecutive year, CACI was recognized for exceeding expectations in advocating for veteran-owned small businesses
RESTON, Va., February 6, 2023 /3BL Media/ - CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that it has received the National Veteran Small Business Coalition’s (NVSBC) Champions Award for exceeding the NVSBC-established goals of total subcontracting dollars awarded to veteran-owned small businesses (VOSB’s) during the federal government’s fiscal year 2021.
This honor recognizes CACI’s commitment to the strengthening of small businesses and its support of various contracting assisted programs. Since the company’s founding in 1962, CACI has partnered with thousands of diverse small businesses, helping to grow and build resilient companies, and leading to the development of new capabilities, improved skill sets, and innovative technologies.
CACI’s Small Business Advocacy Office, led by Executive Director Wayne Pizer, works to identify potential new partners to grow the company, as well as expand CACI’s footprint in the federal marketplace. CACI is a proud member of the HUBZone Contractors National Council and National Veteran Small Business Coalition, and regularly attends conferences geared toward small businesses to further our knowledge of being effective partners and leaders.
As a proud supporter of veterans, CACI is also actively involved with the National Veterans Institute for Procurement (VIP).
Barbara Ashe, VIP National Director and President, MCCC Foundation, said, “We are thankful for CACI’s support in helping to ‘Arm Vets to Win’ in the federal sector. The company’s continued dedication in serving on the curriculum committee, in the classroom as an instructor, and in its sponsorship of the program has resulted in VIP graduates winning approximately $17 billion in prime awards since 2010.”
